The Richardson Olmsted Complex Public Meeting

Date: Thursday, January 6, 2011
Time: 6:00 PM
Where:
Burchfield Penney Art Center
1300 Elmwood Avenue
Buffalo, NY
Description:

The Richardson Olmsted Complex Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) and General Project Plan (GPP) are complete, and were accepted as such by the lead agency, Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC) on December 16, 2010.

The Project described in the GPP and assessed in the DGEIS is an outgrowth of the September 2009 Richardson Olmsted Complex Master Plan. The Master Plan was prepared by the Richardson Center Corporation, which is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is leading the effort to rehabilitate/reuse the complex and is the recipient of funds being administered by ESDC for this effort.

The DGEIS and GPP describe the project, assess the potential for significant environmental impacts, identify potential mitigation measures, and identify the sources and uses of state funds. At a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 6, 2011, 6:00 pm at Burchfield Penney Art Center you will have the opportunity to comment on these activities.

Written comments will be accepted by the lead agency until 5 PM on Monday, January 17th at 5 PM by submission to:
