I believe from 1910 census record that my grandmother was a boarder living in a cottage on a the grounds of the Norristown state hospital in west norriton pa. She was only 11 years old at the time. Could I get any information on this?

Is it possible that someone in her family had TB? Though Norristown was never specifically a tuberculosis sanatorium, I know there were several cottages set aside on the property for the care of TB patients. If not state hospitals were almost exclusively self sustaining and all personal lived on property, its possible someone in her family was employed there.

Best bet might be to look for old tax records from the county. IF she was listed as a boarder you can use the tax records to check if a family member was an employee
