|Good Morning, I am hoping someone might be able to help me. My Great-great grandmother, Lillie O. Wingler, was an 'inmate' at the Kankakee State Hospital from November 1909 to January 1913. She is listed in the 1910 Census. I have thus far been unable to find an obituary or location of burial for her. We know she died in a hospital, and this thread is my first glimmer of hope for finding a burial location.
There was a post from a few years ago mentioning a contact person for information:

According to Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka, if you want information on State Hospital graves, you should contact Mr. Jim Carlson, Cemetery Oversight Division (888-756-8331)...
Does anyone know if this person is still there or who the new individual may be? I am hoping to just find out if she is, in fact, buried in the hospital cemetery, as I assume seeing the grave would be nothing short of a miracle.
