Norwich on GHOST HUNTERS

Yeah I know we all think the show is stupid, annoying, and retarded. BUT there will probably be some good video of the hospital. According to this new article http://www.norwichbulletin.com/news/x1664754853/-Ghost-Hunters-going-home they filmed in the Administration Building as well as the seldom seen morgue.

The Norwich episode will air May 5, 2010 @ 9:00pm according to their website. http://www.syfy.com/schedule/index.php?search_text=Ghost%20Hunters

Norwich on Life After People

Norwich State Hospital was featured on the SyFy series Life After People in the episode Crypt of Civilization which aired on January 19, 2010.
The Norwich scene takes place about half way through the one hour show when, like in every episode, they visit an abandoned location that reflects the amount of time that has passed in relation to the show. The show re-airs quite often so check your local listing for the episode, it is worth watching.

I was tempted to but couldn't bring myself to watch it. The footage on "Life After People" wasn't half bad if I recall.

I couldn't bring myself to watch that program. I've never like that show, too much like a reality TV show IMO.

I had it playing on my desktop PC on YouTube during my lunch yesterday while I was working on my laptop. I find it hard to give that show my full attention and it seems easier to take if I am doing something else as well

Anyway, yeah, it was the same shit different place. They focused (of course) on the morgue (which I was surprised to see was totally free of graffiti and vandalism) and the tunnels. I don't think the footage of the actual hospital was even that good, and I felt sorry for the poor guy that they were reporting their "investigation" to, it was some retired maintenance worker. I think it's pretty funny that they could get anyone more prestigious than that to come of their show.

Life After People was far better.

I do know that the main reason the morgue was free of graffiti was due to the fact someone had smashed the lock/handle so that no one could get in there. So if they did get in there, that means they had to bypass that door.
