I am trying to find Gowanda State Homeopathic Hospital and/or grave site records pertaining to my grandmother (maternal side); Pauline Bertha Meyer (nee Duquette) (b. ~ 1891 in North Tonawanda, NY). She is listed in the 1920 US Federal Census as Pauline B. Duquette (Married to Fredric Duquette ~ 1915 (Fredric died in 1949) residing in North Tonawanda, NY (three daughters at that time - Beatrice (b. ~1915); Olga Elizabeth Duquette (nee Kennedy) (b. 11/2/1916; and my mother, Catherine Pauline Duquette, (nee McCracken) (b. 08/08/1918). Fredrick and Pauline subsequently had a son (LeGrand Duquette) in 1924 and was admitted to the Gowanda State Homeopathic Hospital, probably that year, 1924, or the next, 1925. A Pauline B. Duquette is also listed in the 1930 US Federal Census as residing in Erie County, NY, probably at the GSH which I believe was operating in Collins, Erie County, NY at that time. Any help with Pauline's admission, death and burial would be very much appreciated.

On the 1930 census, it shows Pauline at Buffalo State Hospital. There was also a Beatrice Duquette there at the same time, not sure if that is the daughter although she is 15 in 1930. Pauline shows up at Gowanda in the 1940 census. Also I found a Social Security Death Index listing for a Pauline Duquette in July 1974, doesn't mention where she was buried. For more info try contacting the Gowanda Historical Society, they might have something that could help. I saved copies of the census records if you want them emailed.
