| Hello, My Granfather Alfred Gilbert McDonald DOB: 31 July 1918 and DOD: 3 Nov 1950. He died from TB in the Rutland, MA Sanitarium. I am looking to find out any information on him more so if his place of birth and the names of his parents were on his file. Thank you very much.

| From my search I found many Albert McDonalds in Massachusetts. There is a Alfred McDonald at the Rutland Sanitarium in the 1940 census that was born in 1919. Possibly they spelled his first name wrong or it is someone different. He's listed as married and from Boston. On the 1920 census there is an Albert G. McDonald from Boston born about 1918, son of John & Lucretia McDonald, both from Canada. The only Alfred McDonald I could find on the Social Security death index fro 1950 from Massachusetts was born in May of 1905.
