I am interested in finding out about my grandmother and aunt who were in the Delaware State Hospital.
My grand mother is Mary (Magdelina) Orlowski and my aunt Catherine Orlowski. They were both listed on the 1940 Cenus. My grandmother passes away in l967. I am not sure about my aunt .
I would like to know why they were committed to the Delaware State Hospital.
I just found out about my grandmother any aunt.
Your help would be greatefully appreciated. I m trying to make a family tree.

My mother name is Mary Doud ( Orlowski) she is the daughter of Magdelina Orlowski she is very ill. She is 90 years old and has forgot. She taiks about her mother often.
My aunt Catherine was born 11 april 1913 and died in Delaware city, de at Governpr Bacon Health.
This is my aunt that you found.
My grandmother is listed as Maddelina Orlowski on Probate paper but is listed on the 1940 cenus as Mary Orlowski, she died 2 nov 1967 ar Farnhurst. My mother never talked about her family until now she is very ill.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
