Hi Jackie, I found some info, not sure how helpful though. I found a Mozelle (Taylor) Ewing that was born in Pennsylvania in 1903 and according to the 1930 census was living in Camden, living with her husband Earest & 3 children; Earnest, Harold & Doris. In 1910 & 1920 census she is listed as single and the daughter of Hattie & Gustus Taylor. In 1940 Hattie and Mozelle are living together, but Mozelle is listed as single. Maybe she was divorced and they told the census worker she was single. The SSDI wasn't very helpful for Hattie or Mozelle, no record of either having died in NJ.
As for Randolph, I found several listed on Ancestry.com in New Jersey. I would need more info like DoB or parents names to slim down the list. New Jersey will release some records to family, but like most states they hide behind the patient privacy act. You could try contacting Trenton or Ancora State directly. The state archives don't seem to have much on the 2 institution's records.

| It could also be worth a shot to contact the Camden County Health Services Center, which was once the Camden County Hospital for the Insane. It could be possible they were in county care rather than state care at some point, and if they have records it is much easier to wrestle county bureaucracy that that at the state level.
