Our Mother and her three brothers were orphans in 1919. Our Mother and two of her brothers were put in the IOOF Orphanage in Sunbury Pa. The one brother was to old to go with them. My sister and I were able to obtain the record of who took them to the orphanage in 1919.Along with the record of admittance was a medical report on Francis. The report stated he was slow, smoked, was mean to animals and did not seem able to function as other children did. Our mother was still in the orphanage when her brother Francis passed away. She only knew he passed away in Rome NY from TB. We never persued finding any more information on him while she was alive but am now trying to put together his life when he left the orphanage. We are not able to get any more information from the source that provided the information about their admittance to the orphanage as the records are located in another building and we were not able to get the information they promised. We did locate that our Uncle Francis had passed away from TB in the State School in Rome NY. According to the death certificate he Passed away December 23, 1928 from TB. The certificate indicated he had only been there for about a year and a half.We are interested in learning if any records are available such as who admitted him to the school and any other medical records or photos of him. Thank you for any help you can give us
