Interior view of the beauty salon at the Toledo State Hospital. Four stations are visible. The stations are divided from each other with half walls. A valance curtain is hung above each station. The station to the far left contains a chair and a hair dryer. The second station has a mirror hung on its wall; cabinets for supplies; and a chair with a headrest. The third station also has a mirror on the wall and a chair; the chair lacks a headrest. The fourth station has a chair, a hair dryer, a stool, and a cabinet. A large window is at right angles to this station. Print curtains are on the window. These stations are fronted by an aisle. Across the aisle is a chair, a table, a half wall topped by opaque, rippled glass. A valence runs across the top of the station. Fluorescent lights run the length of the salon.
