Still more to be found, but the Lovering Colony was a satellite of Taunton State Hospital intended strictly for women. Located at 45 Davis Street, Taunton, MA, the buildings were completed in 1914 only 2 miles from the main campus.

During the year the group of buildings intended for women alone on Davis Street which is now known as the William C Lovering colony has been completed and is proving satisfactory in every way It provides for 100 patients.
