State Schools (Also known as State Training Schools, Boarding Schools, Regional Centers) are a collection of residential facilities run by states for people with developmental disabilities. These institutions provided round-the-clock care for people with severe or profound mental retardation and people with mental retardation who are medically fragile or who have behavioral issues. State Schools are usually large with the academies, dormitories, and the detention centers.
