The rooms were spacious and each had a private parlor and adjoining room for an attendant, as well as gas and a fireplace. The cottage contained its own kitchen, storeroom, and dining area.
The building was designed and its construction overseen by Furness, Evans, and Co. It is likely this building was designed by Frank Furness.
