History

Parkview Home opened in 1863 as the Clinton County Asylum for the Poor. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1918. The current home was built in 1918 on 208 acres on Burlington Avenue in Frankfort. It is on both the federal and state of Indiana National Register of Historic Places.
